Abidjan, 26 août 2025 (AIP) – La deuxième journée de la Premier League anglaise a été marquée par la démonstration d’Arsenal face à Leeds (5-0), la victoire de Tottenham face à Manchester City (2-0) et le succès arraché par Liverpool sur le terrain de Newcastle (3-2).
Dans les autres rencontres, Chelsea a largement dominé West Ham (5-1) tandis qu’Everton a pris le meilleur sur Brighton (2-0). Burnley est allé s’imposer à Sunderland (2-0) et Brentford a décroché une précieuse victoire à Aston Villa (1-0). Bournemouth a battu Wolverhampton (1-0). Deux matchs se sont soldés par des scores de parité : Nottingham Forest – Crystal Palace (1-1) et Manchester United – Fulham (1-1).
